The Lefroy Memorial

All Saints Church was built through the generosity of Charles Edward Lefroy of Itchell House, Crondall, in memory of his late wife Janet, nee Walker. Mr Lefroy died in 1861 before the church was completed. There is a monument to their memory in the church upon which is their impaled Arms.

Dexter; Lefroy
Vert fretty of eight pieces argent on a chief of the second a hood (or cap) between two wyverns gules.
Sinister; Walker
Argent three pallets Gules surmounted of a saltire counterchanged on a chief Azure a crescent between two mullets Sable. The display on the monument may not be correct.
