Heiress married into the St Clere family.

2)Sir John Carew's Scroll of 1588 as published in Volume 1 of the Devon Notes & Queries (1900-1901). It records the Todwell Arms quartered with St Clere in Sherford Church. There is note that to the effect that the Arms have been noted elsewhere with a border engrailed Gules.
