Notes:
Campbell of Airds Armorial was compiled by Alastair Campbell of Airds, now Islay Herald Extraordinary, and printed as Appendix 1 to his A History of Clan Campbell, Volume 3 (Edinburgh: Edinburgh University Press, 2004).
Art for Argyll, Lochnell, Cawdor, Ormidale, Balgirsho, Glenorchy, Ardkinglas, Inverawe, and Loudoun originate from G. Harvey Johnston’s Heraldry of the Campbells (Inveraray: Beinn Bhuidhe Holdings, 1920 and reprinted 1977) with remaining done by Paul Campbell in same style for sake of continuity.
